ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) stated on Friday that winter breaks would commence in all educational institutions on January 6, 2022.
During a meeting presided over by NCOC Chairman Asad Umar, a resolution to this effect was made. The meeting was attended by Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan.
“At today’s NCOC meeting, it was agreed that the winter holiday in the education sector would begin on January 3rd, with the exception of the Fog / Smog-affected regions of Pakistan.” In a tweet, the country’s nerve centre for Covid reaction stated, “Federating units will provide alerts appropriately.”
