Billionaire Elon Musk, renowned for his humour, has done it again, mocking the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for the finding of the James Webb Space Telescope.
NASA has just released amazing photos of the universe captured by the James Webb Space Telescope.
Musk, on the other hand, attempted to downplay the situation on Friday.
Musk presented a kitchen slab with a cosmic-like pattern in a Twitter post with the comment “Nice attempt, NASA.”
Webb presented the finest picture of the early cosmos, dating back 13 billion years, on Monday.
The amazing image, unveiled in a White House briefing by President Joe Biden, contains thousands of galaxies and some of the weakest objects ever detected.

Webb’s First Deep Field depicts the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, which functions as a gravitational lens, bending light from more distant galaxies behind it towards the observatory, resulting in a cosmic magnification effect.
Webb, which was launched from French Guiana on an Ariane 5 rocket in December 2021, is circling the Sun at a million miles (1.6 million kilometres) from Earth in a region of space known as the second Lagrange point.
Here, it maintains a constant position relative to the Earth and Sun, using just a little amount of fuel for course corrections.
The entire project cost is projected at $10 billion, making it one of the most costly scientific platforms ever constructed, similar to CERN’s Large Hadron Collider.
