Smartphones have long offered the convenience of instantaneous responses. Even if you’re not using WhatsApp, most other messaging applications allow you to respond to a message right from the notification shade, saving you precious time.
On PCs, these kinds of capabilities are rare, but they will soon be available on WhatsApp Desktop. In keeping with tradition, WABetaInfo discovered the new functionality first.
On the beta version of WhatsApp Desktop, rapid reply notifications have been added, according to their latest report. You may respond to messages from alerts without having to launch the app, as stated in the description. This is what it looks like, as you can see in the image below.
The image depicts a standard Windows notification popup, but with a tiny text box for rapid answers in the bottom right corner. Unless you launch the app, you won’t be able to see the image’s preview.
A beta version of WhatsApp Desktop is currently available via the Microsoft Store, and it may be downloaded. It’s not clear when it will be included in the stable version of the software, but the Universal Windows Platform App is the only place it can be found.
