Toyota Pakistan is scheduled to raise the cost of its fully built-up (CBU) automobiles today, with an increase ranging from Rs. 300,000 to Rs. 1.25 million. This will be the automaker’s second price increase in less than a month.
Toyota’s CBU tariffs were hiked to Rs. 2.28 million at the start of this month, and they went into effect on March 4th. The firm also indicated that owing to a recent rise in the Regulatory Duty (RD) on imported CBU units, it would pass the price increase on to its consumers.
It’s worth noting that the prices of all CBUs had already risen to exceed Rs. 1.1 million. The price of the Prius 1.8L has been increased by Rs. 2.28 million, while the Corolla Cross has been increased by Rs. 2.14 million for the premium variant.
