Moonis Elahi is a Pakistani politician who is now a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly. He is the son of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi of Pakistan. Elahi is a member of the PMLQ political party. Following his election victory in 2018, he became the Federal Minister in charge of water resources.

Since August 2018, Moonis Elahi has served as a representative for Pakistan in the National Assembly. He served in the Punjab Provincial Assembly from May 2013 until May 2018 before that.
On April 12, 1976, Elahi was born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He is the grandson of Chaudhry Manzoor Elahi Warraich and the son of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. He is a member of the Warriach clan and is originally from the Jat tribe in Punjab. His father is the current Chief Minister of Punjab and a former Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan.
