Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped significantly, in line with worldwide market trends.
The price of 24-carat gold has dropped by Rs5,200 per tola, according to statistics from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), to Rs204,900.
Concurrently, the price of 10 grams of this precious metal has dropped by Rs4,350.
On the international front, the price of gold has dropped 0.50 percent to $1,906 per ounce.
Gold’s value in Pakistan has fluctuated, owing to the fact that many people see gold as a safe investment and a hedge against uncertain times.
Furthermore, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) has recovered well against the US dollar (USD) on the open market, gaining Rs5 versus the greenback.
