Gold prices increased in Pakistan on Thursday, defying a downward trend on the international market for the precious metal.
The price of gold climbed by Rs3,000 per tola (24 carats), while the price for 10 grams of the precious metal went up by Rs2,450.
As a consequence of these modifications, the price of gold per tola has increased to Rs205,600, while the price of 10 grams has decreased to Rs202,600.
In the meanwhile, the price of precious metals on the international market had a little decline and eventually stabilized at $1,872 per ounce.
On the international market, the price of this safe-haven commodity has been experiencing volatility due to ongoing uncertainty and high inflation. This has caused the price to fluctuate quite a bit.
