On the first business day of the week, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable increase, diverging from the trend in the global market. According to information released by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of gold per tola escalated by Rs700, reaching Rs215,800 on Monday.
Furthermore, the price for 10 grams of gold rate witnessed a rise of Rs600, settling at Rs185,000, up from the previous rate of Rs184,414. Additionally, the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed to Rs169,596, marking an increase from its earlier price of Rs169,046.

Silver Rates Remain Steady
While gold rates have seen an uptick, silver prices in Pakistan have stayed consistent. The price for a tola of silver continues to be Rs2,570, and for 10 grams, it remains at Rs2,200.
Global Gold Market Observes a Dip
Contrary to the upward trajectory in Pakistan, the international gold market observed a decrease amidst geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The price of gold fell by 0.2 percent to $2,032.3 per ounce. Similarly, futures for U.S. gold also declined by 0.4 percent, reaching $2,041.5 per ounce.
