The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the deadline for registering and obtaining a license for the Digital Learning and Skills Enrichment Initiative (DLSEI).
The registration and license validity period for DLSEI has been extended until December 31, 2022, according to information. All current HEC-recognized university students and graduates are eligible to apply.
The HEC, in partnership with Coursera, a US-based online course provider, is providing online courses via the DLSEI to allow Pakistani students to learn new skills.
Students and graduates may choose from over 1,000 online courses in subjects such as business, computer science, information technology, data science, language learning, biological sciences, and personal development.
Around 100 Coursera partners created these online courses, including Amazon, IBM, Intel, Google, Yale University, Duke University, Imperial College London, and John Hopkins University.
Registered persons may also get a certificate upon successful completion of the course, which can serve as evidence to an employer that one is acquainted with cutting-edge tools and abilities required for a competitive job internationally.
