The Law Admission Test registration schedule has been released by the Higher Education Commission (LAT). Candidates who want to take this test must adhere to the commission’s timetable. In accordance with an order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan, the HEC conducts the LAT test for candidates seeking admission to the five-year undergraduate LLB degree program at HEC/PBC recognized public and private universities/institutions, as well as valid colleges affiliated with public sector universities.
Criteria for Eligibility
The following are the requirements for taking the Law Admission Test (LAT).
Candidates who have completed their higher secondary education or have received an equivalent education are eligible to take the admission exam.
Candidates who have taken the HSSC final examination or an equivalent examination and are awaiting results are eligible to take the test.

Examination Dates
The exam will be held provisionally on November 28, 2021, and any changes to the test date will be informed via HEC’s online site.
Candidates who register online will be able to get their roll number slip from the HEC site and send it to their registered email address one week before the exam begins.
Candidates will be notified of the exam date, time, and location through email or SMS. Candidates must provide accurate information while filling out the online application form.
Candidates must provide a printout of their roll number slip as well as their original CNIC on the day of the test.
The legal entrance test will be held in major cities, with candidates having the option of selecting an examination center from a list.
The Registration Procedure
Candidates must complete an online registration form on the Higher Education Commission’s website.
Profile completion and application submission are the two processes in the application submission procedure. When filling out the application form, candidates must provide accurate information.
For the LAT, only completed/saved application forms will be considered; incomplete/unsaved application forms will be ignored.
The exam cost is Rs.1000/- and may be paid at any Habib Bank Limited branch; however, applicants should be aware that bank draughts and pay orders will not be accepted. In any event, the LAT test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
On or before the final day of registration, the applicants must send a copy of their submitted fee challan by courier to the HEC headquarters in Sector-8 Islamabad.
Candidates are required to write their CNIC number on the reverse of the fee challan.
The deadline
Candidates are reminded that the deadline to apply for the legal entrance test is November 15, 2021, and that they must submit the application form before that date.
