The administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has resolved to regularise tens of thousands of school and college instructors. Additionally, the KP government will regularise thousands of ex-FATA project workers and hundreds of physicians.
Details indicate that the provincial government would make permanent the positions of 58 thousand school and college instructors. Additionally, 4,070 workers of the ex-FATA project and 720 contract physicians will be regularised. In all, the government of the KP will regularise around 63,000 workers.
The KP government has allotted 2,4 billion rupees for scholarships for exceptional female students and 900 million rupees for scholarships for clever male students.
In addition, the provincial government has allotted 500 million rupees for scholarships for students in grades 1 through 8.
In addition, the province administration has introduced “Education Cards” to allow bright students to enrol in top-tier national institutions of higher education.
The KP government has allotted 1 billion rupees for the Education Cards, a scheme modeled after Health Cards, the main healthcare project of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
