KARACHI: Despite the government’s promises of taking strict measures to prevent cheating and protect the circulation of test papers, the ninth-grade computer studies question paper was leaked on social media.
The Science Group paper was set to begin at 9:30 a.m., but the questionnaire was leaked on social media around 9:15 a.m., revealing the board’s safety flaws.
More than 360,000 pupils have enrolled for the test for the ninth and tenth grades, according to the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), which has 448 exam centers throughout Karachi’s 18 localities.
In regions where examination centers are created, the Sindh government has implemented Section 144, which prohibits the use of mobile phones within the centers.
Science group papers are planned for the morning shift, whereas general group papers are scheduled for the second shift.
