The University of Health Sciences (UHS) recently made public the outcomes of the second professional MBBS annual exams for the year 2023. The examination saw participation from 5,446 students across 43 medical colleges affiliated with UHS. Out of these, 4,841 candidates achieved success, while 580 did not pass. Additionally, the outcomes of 25 students were withheld, marking an overall success rate of 89.30%.
Top Performers in MBBS
Leading the ranks, Syed Moiz ul Haq Bukhari from Sheikh Zayed Medical College in Rahim Yar Khan achieved the highest score of 559 out of 600. Following closely, Rayyan ur Rehman Cheema from the same college clinched the second spot with a score of 554, and Alisha Shahid from Shalamar Medical & Dental College in Lahore secured third place with 553 marks.
Those who need to improve their scores will have another chance in the supplementary examinations, scheduled to begin on April 15th.
BSc Nursing Results Also Declared
In addition to the MBBS results, UHS also announced the outcomes for the first Professional B.Sc Nursing (Post RN 2-Year) annual examination. This exam witnessed 258 candidates from five affiliated nursing colleges. Of these, 241 successfully passed, whereas 17 did not, leading to a commendable pass percentage of 93.41%.
These announcements mark significant milestones for the candidates and the institutions involved, reflecting the rigorous academic and professional standards upheld by the University of Health Sciences.
