The Punjab Government and the School Education Department have declared three days of holiday in Lahore. In a week, these holidays will be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This order will be enacted immediately and will remain in effect until further instructions are issued.
Yesterday, the LHC directed the Punjab government to provide an official notice of three days of vacation on December 7, 2022.
So, today, December 7, the Punjab government’s education department issued a notice of three days of vacation on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Despite his opposition to the court’s judgment, Dr. Murad Raas consented to issue a holiday announcement owing to court pressure.
Please keep in mind that this announcement is just for public and private schools in Lahore.
Due to the rise in smog levels, schools will remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays in Lahore and the rest of Punjab, the provincial government notified.
