Punjab Government School Education Department has issued an important notification for the winter months dress code. Department has advised that students may wear any jacket, sweater, socks, shoes, hats, etc during January and February 2023.
No School may require the kids to wear just specified color sweaters, coats, shoes, socks and hats, etc. So all kids at public and private schools are permitted to wear anything to keep save them from the cold.
The official announcement indicates that Consequent upon permission of the Competent Authority, all public and private schools in the province of Punjab are ordered to loosen their uniform policy.
Students may be permitted to wear any sweater/blazer/coat/jacket/cap sock, shoes, etc. throughout the months of January and February 2023, to keep them warm and protect them from cold weather.
All public and private schools are instructed to maintain compliance in letter and spirit.
