This year has been a very tough year for all the educational activities due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic all over the globe. Pakistan has also faced numerous problems in education sector regarding admissions, exams, results, and other educational activities.
As a result of the ongoing scenario, the board of exams decided to promote the students to the next classes without conducting exams. The results are to prepared based on the previous academic performance of the students and making an average score of the previous results.

Although the Punjab board annual examination of the matric has been taken the practical exams were left so the authorities made the decision of announcing the results. The marks of the practical examination will be judged on the basis of their scores in the theoretical exams.
Announcement of Matric and Inter Result 2020
Higher Education Commission advised all the Punjab educational boards to finish the process of paper checking at their earliest to make the results announcement in the mid of September. The expected result announcement date for matric exam 2020 was due on 14th September 2020 and the intermediate result on 17th September 2020.
But according to the latest news, it has been confirmed that the board could not prepare results on the provided scheduled dates to declare the result of matric and intermediate. Due to the delay in the marking of the practical exams based on the theory exams of the matric students, the authorities had to delay the announcement of the matric and intermediate result 2020.
