Furthermore, candidates are informed that an associate degree is not equivalent to a BA/BSc/B.com (16-year education), but that an AD is equivalent to 14-year education, entitling candidates to enroll in the 5th semester of the respective BS degree programs after meeting the University’s mandatory admission criteria.\
Announcement HEC (Higher Education Commission)
The Higher Education Department has previously advised students against enrolling in unapproved BA/BSc degree programs. The transition phase concluded in 2016, and on December 31, 2018, the decision was taken to cease admissions to the BA/BSC programs. The final BA/BSc test will be taken in 2020, as well, and these choices were reaffirmed in 2017, as well as in 2019 and 2020. However, because of the coronavirus issue, institutions have been given the flexibility to finish the final exams for BA and BSc by March 31, 2021.
