ISLAMABAD: Following the release of a security camera video relating to Noor Mukadam’s murder in Islamabad, the Twitterati urged capital punishment for Zahir Jaffer, largely in the form of hanging to death.
New closed-circuit television (CCTV) video reveals Noor Mukadam’s failed effort to leave Zahir Jaffer’s home.
Noor was spotted entering the suspect’s residence at 10:19 p.m. on July 18 while on the phone with someone. In the video, you can also see Watchman Iftikhar. Then, on July 20, she is observed leaping from the first floor onto the porch area of the home in a frantic attempt to leave, but the watchman blocks her entrance.
In another video, the 27-year-old lady can be seen pleading with Zahir Jaffer, 30, to let her go.
On July 20, Noor Mukadam, the daughter of a previous ambassador, was assassinated in Islamabad by her friend Zahir Jaffer. Protests erupted around the nation in response to the horrible murder in July.
After declining a marriage proposal, the victim was assaulted. Before killing her with a “sharp-edged instrument,” the Pakistani-American guy raped and tortured her with a knuckle duster.
Prime Minister Imran Khan promised that the accused, who are members of Pakistan’s elite and dual nationals, would not escape prosecution.
Twitterati has now begun a campaign calling for Zahir Jaffer to be hanged.
