Pakistan won by 72 runs against Scotland on Sunday, extending their unbeaten run in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup.
The Super 12 stage is divided into two groups: Group 1 and Group 2. The team that finished first in each group will take against the team that finished second in the other group’s points table.
Pakistan finished first in their group, followed by New Zealand in second place.
As a consequence, Pakistan will meet Australia in the semi-finals in Dubai, while New Zealand and England will square off in Abu Dhabi.
Babar, speaking after Pakistan’s win against Scotland, claimed the team’s unbeaten record was due to their togetherness and consistency.

The captain said that the semi-final will be held in Dubai, where Pakistan has a large following. “We will stride into the ground with confidence because of the supporters’ backing.”
