UAE lifted the restriction on vaccinated residents from India and other States. Residents of India, Pakistan, and 13 other countries who have been completely vaccinated against Covid-19 with a World Health Organization (WHO)-approved vaccine will be permitted to return to the UAE starting Monday.

According to National Emergency and crisis management residents of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Afghanistan will be able to fly into the UAE starting September 12.
“Those who are fully vaccinated with any WHO-approved vaccines and have been staying in one of the countries on the suspended list for more than six months since the suspension decision was issued for each country can enter under a new entry permit and rectify their status after entry,” the NCEMA said on Friday .UAE lifted the restriction on vaccinated residents from India and other States
This comes as Dubai, one of the UAE’s seven emirates, prepares to host the Expo 2020 global exhibition on October 1st, following a year-long postponement due to the epidemic. According to news agency Reuters, the area business and tourism center is counting on the expo to strengthen its economy.

Residents must apply through the Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) website and complete the vaccination application in order to receive the requisite approval, as well as submit the authorized vaccination certificate upon arrival in the UAE.
