Brahma Mishra, who played Lalit in the critically acclaimed sitcom Mirzapur, died of a heart attack, according to news agency ANI.
The actor’s death was discovered at his residence, according to the police, and an Accidental Death Report (ACD) was filed.
The corpse was sent to a nearby hospital for an autopsy, but the results have yet to be obtained.
Divyenndu, who plays Munna in the show, released his photo with the late actor as he mourned the passing of his co-star.
“RIP Brahma Mishra,” he captioned the image as he shared the heartbreaking news with his fans. Our Lalit is no longer with us. Let us all pray for him.”
Fans and other members of the media fraternity began sending their sympathies as soon as the post went live on Instagram.
Shweta Tripathi Sharma also paid respect to Brahma on her Instagram Story, writing, “RIP Brahma.” I consider myself fortunate to have met and worked with you.”
The platform that aired the concert also posted a homage to the dead on its official account, saying, “Thank you for making us laugh, and thank you for making us weep, Brahma Mishra, our Lalit. Thank you for constantly reminding us of the importance of friendship’s commitment and love. RIP, you will always be in our hearts.”
