The continuing royal feud between Prince Harry and Prince William has reached a new ‘rotten’ level, according to royal analyst Daniela Elser, as reported by The Daily Star.
While the Duke of Sussex was in the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last week, it was stated that he did not get the opportunity to meet or reconcile with his elder brother William. During the holiday weekend, the two were also not seen together.
“It’s about a year since we last saw William and Harry together, and in that time the situation appears to have only worsened more,” Else said to The Daily Star.
“Five metres,” she said. According to my best estimation, the closest Prince William and Prince Harry got near each other during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities last week was roughly five metres.”
“The Royal party passed the second row with perfectly neutral attitudes, completely ignoring Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who returned the frigid favour.” From either side, there was no acknowledgement in the form of a nod, a subtle tilt of the head, or any other discernable sign.”
“Now one thing has become evident — the schism between the brothers has reached a terrible new phase,” Elser concluded. What has become evident is that this is not a case of transitory iciness that can be remedied with a few reassuring words and a firm embrace. It’s a deep permafrost condition with no end in sight.”
