Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, for the first time in two years for the Queen’s Jubilee, but according to a royal expert, they got a tepid reception.
Angela Levin, a royal analyst, recently weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s historic visit to the UK for Jubilee celebrations, saying that both Harry and Meghan were anticipating a warmer reception from members of the royal family.
However, it has been widely reported that neither Prince William nor Kate Middleton, Harry’s sibling, wished to speak with him or his wife Meghan.
According to Levin, Harry and Meghan were likely unaware that a warm reception was less expected since the royal family circle had grown tighter after the Sussexes’ startling allegations last year.
“Because they’re not there and Harry has injured them, the top royals have become closer,” Levin added.
