Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in the United Kingdom on Wednesday evening with their children, Archie and Lilibet, according to The Daily Mail.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are making their first journey to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, since stepping down as senior royals in 2020 and relocating to the United Kingdom.
While a Scotland Yard spokeswoman declined to comment on the special security plans in place for Prince Harry and Meghan, it has been claimed that the Duke has been advised that his family would be guarded upon arrival.
The Sussex visit comes as Prince Harry fights the Home Office over their decision to deprive him of protection in the UK, with the duke famously declaring that he is ‘unable to return home due to security concerns.
The pair is likely to remain at their Windsor residence, Frogmore Cottage, and attend the St Paul’s Cathedral thanksgiving ceremony on Friday. With the Queen, they will also celebrate Lilibet’s first birthday.
