Apple declared the availability of the Apple MacBook Air with the M2 chipset. The laptop’s availability in the US was made known earlier today. At WWDC 22, the new MacBook Air was unveiled earlier this year. Apple also announced a new MacBook Air with an M2 CPU alongside the 13-inch MacBook Pro. In contrast to the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, the Air M2 has seen major improvements.

Apple’s brand-new MacBook Air M2 is now officially released. For the MacBook Air, a variety of RAM and storage configurations are available. 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD are included in the basic model. The RAM and storage upgrade choices are 16GB and 2TB, respectively. There are two GPU configurations available for the device: an 8-core + 8-core GPU model and an 8-core + 10-core GPU variant.
The M2 Air has a brand-new 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2560 x 1664 PPI and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The top of the 1080p webcam has a sizable notch. The laptop’s CPU is 18% faster and its GPU is 35% more powerful thanks to the M2 chipset.
On a single charge, the MacBook Air should provide consumers up to 18 hours of battery life. The Apple basic model will come with a 30W adapter. The 10-core 512GB setup will come with 35W dual-Type-C adapters. Customers may choose to upgrade to a 67W quick charging adapter.
The Air M2 supports MagSafe charging and has two USB Type-C connections. There is also a triple speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The M2 Air weighs around 1.2 kg and comes in the hues Silver, Starlight Space, Grey, and Midnight.
As part of the launch promotions, customers who use HDFC Bank credit cards may save up to Rs 6,000 on the Air M2. Additionally, free EMI transactions for 3 or 6 months are eligible for the program.
