For a long time, the rumor mill has speculated about a larger MacBook Air, and it may just happen next year. In 2023, according to display specialist Ross Young, the MacBook Air will finally have a 15-inch screen.
The M1 MacBook Air is presently only available in a single 13.3-inch model. According to rumors, Apple will use the same panel for the new MacBook this year, but with a display notch. However, Apple will eventually produce a 15-inch model next year for customers searching for a larger screen in a small and light package.
This new 15-inch MacBook will be available alongside the 13.3-inch model. Young has not mentioned any variations in hardware specs, although the 15-inch model should have a little better resolution. A bigger portable Mac might also imply a larger battery and better cooling. It’s unknown if the laptops will use Mini-LED displays or IPS LCD displays.
As a result, the larger MacBook Air will be more expensive than its 13-inch brother.
A smaller iPad, measured at 12-inches, is also expected, according to the expert, although there is currently no information on this.
