Apple might set a new record for the largest MacBook Air in 2023 by releasing a 15-inch model, reported BGR.
According to an authorized Apple insider, the company is working on the larger MacBook Air but will probably not include it in the Air series.
According to a well-known analyst, Ming-Chi will Kuo, the 15-inch MacBook Air should be available for mass production by the last quarter of 2023.
Predictions for Apple's potential 15" notebook in 2023:
1. Mass production in 4Q23 if all goes to plan.
2. Although a larger display generally consumes more power, the design goal is to use the same 30W power adapter as MacBook Air.
3. It might not be called MacBook Air. https://t.co/R3UfxNWZW1— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) March 24, 2022
Interestingly, despite the larger screen, Kuo claims that the Air model’s power usage will not rise. The same 30 Watt power adaptor will be used.
There is now only one basic MacBook Air size, which is the 13-inch model. It’s the same size as the MacBook Pro from before 2021.
It is unsure what Kuo meant when he added that it might not be called a MacBook Air because currently Apple only sells two types of laptops, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
