The times for the special Eid al-Adha prayers have been made known. On July 9, Muslims in the United Arab Emirates will pray at mosques and musallahs, outdoor places of worship.
The list of Eid prayer times for all the emirates is as follows:
- Abu Dhabi: 5.57 a.m.
- Al Ain: 5.51a.m
- Madinat Zayed: 6.02am
- Dubai: 5.52am
- Sharjah: 5.51am
- Ajman: 5.51am
- Umm Al Quwain: 5.50am
- Ras Al Khaimah: 5.48am
- Fujairah: 5.48am
- Al Dhafra: 6.02am
- Khorfakkan: 5.48am
The Covid safety guidelines that worshipers must adhere to while doing the special prayers on the first day of Eid Al Adha have also been made public by authorities in the UAE.
The prayer and lecture will each last little more than 20 minutes.
Worshipers are required to wear masks, keep a minimum of one metre between one another, and bring their own mats.
Before and after prayer, gatherings and handshakes are still forbidden.
