A new feature will allow Facebook and Instagram creators who have followers on other platforms to provide their followers access to subscriber-only groups.
According to Zuckerberg, more artists will be qualified for monetization programmes including cash prizes for producing successful Reels, the company’s short-form TikTok clone. Soon, more people will be able to sign up for Facebook’s Reels bonus programme, and artists will be able to monetize Instagram films that are shared on Facebook.
According to Zuckerberg, Stars, Facebook’s tipping system, will be available to all qualified writers. (Facebook charges a fee when fans purchase Stars; artists get one cent for each Star they receive, but fans often fork out more.)

With the capabilities coming to Facebook “soon” – beginning with a limited number of US users – the platform’s NFT deployment is also growing outside of the US.
