Gold prices were little changed on Friday, falling by Rs50 per tola to close at Rs131,450.
The price of the precious metal fell by Rs50 per tola and Rs43 per 10 gram, respectively, to Rs131,450 and Rs112,697.
In the past three sessions, the safe-haven asset has gained Rs1,500 per tola, since gold is seen as a secure store of value during times of political upheaval and uncertainty.
Gold fell $1 per ounce to $1,955 on the international market, as stronger US Treasury rates countered demand for non-yielding bullion, although the commodity remained tentatively on track for its best week in three.
When compared to the Dubai market, gold prices in Pakistan are roughly Rs6,000 lower.
Meanwhile, silver prices in India stayed constant Monday at Rs1,510 per tola and Rs1,294.58 per ten gram.
