Karachi Wedding Halls: As lockdown delayed alot of functions and social gatherings, many smaller-scale wedding also took place in that period. After the lockdown ended last Monday on 10th August, many businesses became operational. Restaurants, shopping malls, stores, salons, and offices started to function regularly. Now businesses are also open on weekends.
After this uplift of lockdown, wedding halls have started their bookings and functions will continue with special protocols. In a marriage where 600 people were accommodated are now allowing entry of only 200 guests. Social distancing will be strictly followed and 6 people will be allowed to sit on a table of 12.

A manager of wedding hall told that we ensure to strictly follow SOPs and make all necessary arrangements for the safety of people. Guests coming to weddings should also be responsible to take safety measures before entering such gatherings.
As most of the country, Karachi also went under lockdown in March due to an increase in the number of coronavirus cases across the country. The deadly virus took 2317 lives in Sindh. The lockdown ended on August 10. The caterers are also happy about the reopening of their business and they have started taking orders for food. They are satisfied with the government’s decision to end lockdown and booking already for wedding season in November and December.
