In response to a tragic incident in Lahore where a minor caused a fatal accident resulting in the loss of six lives from a single family, the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) took decisive action. The CTO initiated a comprehensive operation aimed at addressing the issue of underage drivers and individuals operating vehicles without proper licenses. Consequently, numerous individuals flocked to various traffic police centers throughout the city to obtain their driving licenses, creating a significant surge in demand.
In an effort to address this issue, the traffic police have introduced online services to simplify the process for citizens applying for learner permits. With these recent enhancements, the application process becomes more user-friendly, encouraging more individuals to pursue obtaining their licenses. Additionally, the police have introduced a convenient door-to-door license service, further emphasizing their commitment to making the process accessible and efficient for the public.
