According to The New York Post, as his defamation suit against Amber Heard nears its conclusion, Johnny Depp took the stand in court on Wednesday and accused Heard of abusing her sister “like a punching bag.”
Depp’s charges came only days after Whitney Henriquez, Heard’s sister, testified against him in the trial, claiming she saw Depp attack her sister.
Depp refuted the charges in his most recent evidence, instead of describing his connection with Whitney and remembering how he ‘took to her very immediately’ at first.
“She was a great child,” Depp recalled, adding that she “got the short end of the stick” from sister Heard, who treated her “both as a trusted sister and friend” and as a “lackey, punching bag, or dartboard.”
Depp then claimed that he saw Heard throwing wine in the face of her sister at one time, stating, “She would have wine poured in her face.” Whitney was attempting to make her sister happy. I’m trying to keep up.”
“It simply seemed like she was shot down… “I’ve seen Miss Heard grab Whitney and push her about,” he said.
After an argument, Heard instructed Whitney to ‘get out’ of his and Heard’s Los Angeles flat, according to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.
