ISLAMABAD – On Friday, the federal government announced to depreciate petroleum prices by up to Rs12.63 per litre.
The new prices will be implemented at midnight tonight.
Following the price increase, petrol will now be sold at Rs224.80 per litre beginning October 1.
The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs12.13 per litre to Rs235.30, while the price of light-speed diesel oil has been reduced by Rs10.19/litre to Rs191.83.
In addition, the finance minister has announced a one-month extension in the deadline for filing tax returns.
