The Nokia C2 2nd Edition was first announced in February at MWC 2022, although the firm did not divulge the price or specifications at the time. We now got the missing pieces of information now that the device is available for purchase in Europe.
The C2 2nd Edition is a unique tiny phone with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD with 480p resolution and large bezels on both sides. There is just one camera on the rear and no biometric fingerprint scanner. It does, however, enable face to unlock.
The primary processor of the phone is an unidentified entry-level MediaTek SoC with a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU. This comes with 1GB/2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion. It runs Android 11 Go Edition and is guaranteed to get security updates for two years.
On both the front and rear, there is simply a single 5MP camera with an LED flash. Although the 2,400 mAh battery only supports 5W charging, it should be sufficient for an entry-level phone.
The Nokia C2 2nd Edition is currently available for $86 in Europe, and it will be available in additional areas shortly. It will be offered in two colors: grey and blue.
