Australia resumes its batting from 232-5 with Cameron Green and Alex Carey not out batting at the crease.
Cameron starts from 20 runs for 48 balls, and Carey from 8 runs for 15 balls.
Not getting shaky by big names like Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah, Australian batters hits some classic drives and shows the brand of cricket the Australians are thought of as to play.
Cameron and Carey continues to make Pakistani bowlers to do hard yards and keep up the batting momentum gained from Day 1 and pile up the score to 320 runs for no loss and goes to lunch at the end of session 1.
Alex Carey is the first player to score 50 of Day 2, scoring 3rd test fifty for Australia off 73 balls.
Then, Cameron Green is the second player to complete his 50 for 117 balls.
It’s the second session of Day 2 that Nauman Ali becomes the first player to get break-through for his team and take wicket of Alex Carey for 67 runs off 105 balls.
With that Australia loose their first batting partnership.
While Australia was in the recovery mode that Naseem Shah gets the second break-through of the day and gets Cameron Green out of his inswinging delivery for 79 runs of 163 balls.
Afterwards, with no great deal of fight shown, Australia continues to loose their wickets after every interval and gets a total of 391 runs.
Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi both completes their 4fers.
Naseem Shah ends up with bowling figures 4-58 and Shaheen Afridi with 4-79.
Now after Pakistani bowlers it was Pakistani batters time to put up a healthy total.
Unfortunately, at the score of only 20 runs Pakistan looses its first wicket in form of Imam-ul-Haq who gets lbw out for 11 runs of 41 balls on Pat Cummins bowl.
Abdullah Shafique, another stylish opening batter, gets chance for twice of Pat Cummins bowl due to catch drops.
Not taking pressure on his head, Abdullah continues to show his batting talent plus temperament and builds up a partnership of 70 runs with senior batter Azhar Ali. Hence, taking the batting total to 90 runs for the loss of 1 wicket down and trail by 301 runs at stumps on Day 2
