ISLAMABAD: Petrol prices have been raised by Rs4 per liter.
The price of petrol has been raised by Rs4 to Rs144.82 per litre, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs4 to Rs141 per litre, kerosene has been raised by Rs3.95 to Rs113.53, and light diesel has been raised by Rs4.15 to Rs111.06 per litre, according to a notification issued by the Finance Division.
According to the notification, the prime minister has rejected Ogra’s suggestion for a price rise in POL goods and has asked for only an Rs4 per litre hike to satisfy the IMF’s petroleum levy target.
The revised prices will take effect on January 1, 2022. (Saturday).
