Prime Minister Imran Khan grilled the opposition, asking why they went to the Supreme Court after new elections were called.
His comments occurred during a live Q&A session on Monday, during which he chastised the opposition for boycotting the polls, claiming that the opposition is afraid of the PTI’s popularity.
“What was the Opposition doing at the Supreme Court when the elections were announced?” In his opening comments, he said, “The Opposition wants an NRO II.”
The Prime minister said that the nation would never progress toward growth until Parliament include members who really care about the country’s improvement.
“This time, we’ll distribute tickets to folks who are blind.” “We didn’t know how to run for office before, but now we do,” the Prime Minister stated.
Forming a cabinet through bribing members, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan, is a violation of democracy. He went on to claim that the opposition has been arguing for three and a half years that the government is “chosen” and that it has failed.
“At the request of the Opposition, we have now announced the election,” he continued.
He said that they are facing corruption charges and are seeking NRO II.
In response to a foreign plot to topple the government, the Prime Minister has called for a rally outside the Red Zone today.
