The absence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Prince Philip’s funeral has been seen as a “slap in the face” to Queen Elizabeth.
This charge was made by Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, on his podcast Remarkable Friends with celebrity photographer Karl Larsen.
“It was extremely essential to the Queen to attend and give honor and God’s grace to Prince Philip for a lifetime of service,” he was reported as adding.
“It was a terrible spit in the face to the Queen for them not to turn up.” The British people will never forgive them.”
“Otherwise, it was a nice service, it went along quite well, and highly earned for that guy,” he continued before ending.
