PUBG MOBILE, the country’s premier online battle royale platform, has launched the country’s first dedicated pro-level gaming competition, continuing its tradition of providing new events for Pakistan’s burgeoning eSports industry.
The platform, dubbed 2022 PUBG MOBILE Pro League Pakistan Spring (PMPL Pakistan), is a competitive professional arena where teams compete for a variety of rewards.
With professional PUBG MOBILE teams fighting for 18 days, including three days of final stages, the tournament will be live-streamed for viewers throughout the nation on YouTube, Facebook, and a number of other social media channels.
The event is scheduled to begin on March 22nd and conclude between April 15th and 17th. The overall prize pool for the tournament is a massive PKR 17,600,000, the greatest amount ever for a PUBG MOBILE tournament in Pakistan.
The teams playing in the 2022 PMPL Pakistan Spring were selected via two distinct processes: direct invitation and qualification. In February, the new PMPL qualifying method was launched with the introduction of a one-time-only PMPL qualifier category.
The top-ranked teams from last year’s PMPL, including Team, R3GICIDE, 3X ESPORTS, QWERTY, METERSHOTXSKY ESPORTS, TEAM TUF, 52XRAGE ESPORTS, and QUANTUM RAGE, have been invited directly to play in PMPL Pakistan 2022. The remaining teams got qualified last month in the PMPL Pakistan qualification.
To increase excitement and foster a more stable competitive environment, the PMPL will now operate on a one-year cycle rather than a seasonal relegation system, which means that clubs playing in the upcoming 2022 PMPL Pakistan Spring will also compete in the Fall Split.
Being launched for the first time this year, the first-ever PMPL Pakistan reflects the league’s emphasis on Pakistan’s professional PUBGM teams and its objectives to cultivate an ambitious and vibrant local gaming ecosystem in Pakistan.
A number of local celebrities and influencers have also expressed their enthusiasm for the competition. Neelam Muneer Khan, Aima Baig, and Bilal Saeed will perform live throughout the finals’ live broadcast, as well as engage with participants via chat.
PUBG MOBILE Esports builds on its success by partnering with OPPO, the world’s top creator of smart technology, to provide an optimum gaming experience to South Asia’s gaming aficionados. The forthcoming OPPO F Series will include fantastic activities.
Due to the fact that PUBG MOBILE has been chosen as an Esports Medal Event at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, the local esports ecosystem in Asian areas is likely to flourish significantly.
PUBG MOBILE has been in the forefront of promoting a favorable and healthy Esports ecosystem in Pakistan by offering unique possibilities for players looking to advance their abilities to a professional level on the worldwide arena.
