RUSSIA fired a ‘invisible’ hypersonic missile in combat for the first time ever on Friday.
Russia’s defence military claims to have destroyed a Ukrainian underground missile depot in the Ivano-Frankovsk during a strike yesterday.
The use of such a weapon is the latest sign Vladimir Putin is getting increasingly desperate as his military struggles to carry out his illegal invasion of Ukraine.
The strike is believed to have been carried out using Kinzhal – or ‘Dagger’ – missiles. They have been claimed to have a range of around 2,000 km.
The weapon is also “unstoppable” by current Western weapons.

Chinese envoy says NATO shouldn’t expand east
A Chinese diplomat says NATO should stick to what he claimed was ‘a promise not to expand eastward’.
In a speech today, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng criticised the far-reaching Western sanctions imposed on Russia after it invaded Ukraine.
He also said the root cause of the war in Ukraine lies in the Cold War mentality and power politics.
Echoing a Kremlin talking point, the Chinese envoy said if NATO’s enlargement goes further, it would be approaching the outskirts of Moscow where a missile could hit the Kremlin within seven or eight minutes.
He also said Chinese President Xi Jinping talks with U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday urged the parties in Ukraine to keep the dialogue and negotiation going.
‘Putin will inspire leaders to launch wars’ – Zelensky
Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Vladimir Putin will inspire the launching of more wars – if he is not stopped.
He said: “If Russia is not stopped now, if Russia is not punished now, other aggressors in the world will start other wars.
“In different regions of the world. On different continents. Wherever a state dreams of conquering its neighbours.”
