Last year, MediaTek unveiled the Dimensity 9000, the world’s first 4nm mobile chipset, as its flagship smartphone CPU. Oppo’s Find X5 Pro, which comes with both a Snapdragon and a Dimensity model, has previously been discovered with this processor. If current speculations are to be believed, the processor might be found in one of Samsung’s future high-end smartphones shortly.
Just over a month ago, the South Korean tech giant unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy S22 range, and now, reports regarding the impending Galaxy S22 FE are gathering traction. Samsung is working on a next-generation smartphone (presumably the S22 FE) that will use MediaTek’s Density 9000 processor, according to a reputable Weibo source.
The Galaxy S22 FE or an enhanced edition of the recently introduced Galaxy A53, named Galaxy A53 Pro, might be the forthcoming Dimensity-9000 powered Galaxy smartphone, according to the source, but there’s no official confirmation yet. Furthermore, this forthcoming device is rumored to have a 4,500 mAh battery that may allow rapid charging, with a price range of $470 to $630.
If the Galaxy S22 FE does arrive with this CPU, it will be the first time a FE model has a different processor than its flagship predecessors, the Galaxy S22 range, which used Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processors depending on the region.
