Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, the Interior Minister, said on Monday that the government has chosen to examine five large dollar exchange firms.
Sheikh Rashid told reporters in the federal capital that 88 individuals have been detained for hoarding dollars, while 47 have been charged with a first information report (FIR).
According to the minister, the fee for a dual identification card has been reduced to Rs5000 from Rs10,000, and dual passport holders have until October 30 to submit their passports.
Sheikh Rashid claimed that a state funeral for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was performed, and that the family of Dr Khan made the choice to bury him in H-8 graveyard.
Responding to a question, Interior Minister reiterated that Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his five year term.
