Good news for students applying for visas and studying abroad!
Visa services for Pakistan students applying in international universities will resume on October 1, Thursday. The US embassy in Pakistan released a statement on Monday, about the resuming process of visa applications which had been discontinued for a long time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As per the statement, the services will be commenced at the United States Embassy in Islamabad and the US Consulate General in Karachi.

The student visas will be on top priority list and will be granted on urgent basis to compensate the loss of education during the pandemic. The embassy said that the US mission “will make every effort to assist student visa applicants as timely and safely as possible”.
The embassy told in a statement that nearly 8,000 students from Pakistan study at universities and colleges across the United States at any given time and that US also look forward to welcoming other candidates interested in the “American educational experience”.
The safety precautions are also important for the applicants so they are advised to wear masks and maintain social distance.
The other visa categories will also soon resume and more applications will be accommodated once the situation is fully back to normal. US mission has released a press to inform all the details and notifications about the on-going visa process.
