Poco is rumored to be working on a new C-series smartphone that might be unveiled in the near future. According to rumors, the alleged smartphone will use an entry-level JR510 SoC instead of popular chipsets like Qualcomm, MediaTek, or Unisoc. A modified version of the company’s operating system called MIUI Go may be installed on the phone. Poco has not yet made any formal announcements on the debut or specs of the Poco C40 smartphone.
There are reports that the Poco C40 will not employ the same Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek CPU as the Poco F1. In contrast to the rumored Poco C40’s C3QP variant, the Redmi 10C has a Snapdragon 680 SoC. But according to the developer, Treswave’s JR510 chipset will power the rumored Poco C40 smartphone.
Geekbench has previously reported on a device codenamed “frost” with the same model number C3QP, which is also mentioned in the report’s findings. According to a report by Xiaomiui, an FCC-registered smartphone with the model number 220333QPG was discovered.
