TikTok seems to be testing a new tool that would enable users to search their watch history for a certain video. The most recent functionality was discovered by Twitter user Hammod Oh and then shared by Geekout creator Matt Navarra. The Watch History feature, according to a screenshot provided by Oh on Twitter, should be available through the app’s settings and privacy section once it is pushed out.

Although there isn’t any information about how the Watch History page will appear or how users will be able to search through their videos, this isn’t the only way people have found lost TikTok recordings.
While one method includes limiting the user’s search results based on the videos they’ve seen, another needs users to save all of their TikTok data from the app to a zip file that contains their video browsing history. As a result, if TikTok implements this functionality, it will save us a lot of time by simplifying the process of retrieving lost films and eliminating the need for these workarounds.
