WhatsApp’s voice messaging service gets a new feature. Users will be able to stop and restart voice recordings at their leisure, thanks to changes to the app’s audio messaging function.
Thanks to the change, people will be able to listen to a condensed version of their voice messages before sending them.
Audio communications users will be able to pause a message and restart listening when they return to the chat. They will also see a waveform visualization of the sound on the message.
Thanks to a recent feature update, users may now listen to audio messages at 1.5x or 2x speed on both normal and forwarded messages.
According to WhatsApp, users will be able to listen to voice communications outside of the discussion, enabling them to multitask or read and reply to other messages.
According to the Meta-owned firm, end-to-end encryption secures audio communications sent through WhatsApp, keeping them private and safe at all times. New features to better voice messaging will be available in the coming weeks.
