Following a series of improvements, Meta’s WhatsApp plans to include the option to filter conversations on ordinary accounts.
According to the website WABetaInfo, the app is releasing the capability for normal users after successfully launching it for corporate custome rs last year. On beta versions of its Android, iOS, and desktop applications, the social network added easy filters for rapidly finding specific discussions.
In the following update, the functionality will be gradually handed out to ordinary accounts.
According to WABetaInfo, the capability is accessible inside a conversation for corporate accounts. Users may sort their messages using four filters: unread chats, contacts, non-contacts, and groups. Even when no conversations or messages are being searched, the filter option will always be present in the chat.
Users who have installed WhatsApp beta UWP 2.2216.4.0 already have access to the functionality. It is still in the works for ordinary WhatsApp accounts and will be available in a future version.
