According to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned instant messaging program WhatsApp is getting a new upgrade via the Google Play Beta Program, increasing the version to 2.22.12.4.
Users may now see a list of prior members in their groups with this upgrade to the instant messaging software.
According to an image published by the WhatsApp tracker, in a future version, a new option will be added at the bottom of the group participants list that would allow users to see who has previously participated in the group.
“Unfortunately, it seems that this list will be available to everyone in the group, not just group administrators,” WABetaInfo added. “However, as this feature is still under development, the way the function works may change before it is released.”
The WhatsApp tracker stated it didn’t know when the functionality will be accessible to beta testers, but that “when the feature is ready, you will discover a fresh changelog on this page
