It’s unclear if the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be available worldwide. Digital Chat Station, on the other hand, has revealed some information on the handset’s camera hardware. According to many leaked renderings, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would include a large number of rear-facing camera sensors, maybe five or six lenses.
Instead, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will come with three cameras, probably main, periscope, and ultra-wide-angle sensors, according to the leaker.
Xiaomi is said to be adding new technology and solutions to these cameras, including dual image stabilization. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will also use supplementary image sensors, most likely a 3D ToF sensor or two, according to Digital Chat Station.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra, by the way, might be one of the first handsets to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, which is a mid-generation upgrade of the company’s current flagship smartphone SoC. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to include a 4,860 mAh battery with 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has stated that a new powerful Redmi Note 11 series device, presumably the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ with a Dimensity 920 SoC, would be released next week.
